What are the Akashic Records and how do they relate to our soul?

The Soul's Journey

Before continuing to advance with the concept of the Akashic Records, it is first necessary to understand the journey that our soul has taken before incarnating in this human experience. There exists a source of life, of all that is, all that exists. From there we come, and to there we return in each cycle of incarnation. Our soul emanates from this source like a unique and unrepeatable spark of light, and at that moment, it is assigned its own record in the Great Almica Library. To this record and to this spark of light (soul), a team of Masters and Guides is assigned, whose main function is to remind it of its path on this Earth and assist in the process of learning and evolution. At that moment, the soul chooses and designs its journey to Earth, determining where it will incarnate, who will be its parents, its family, its fellow travelers. This design is always in service to being able to learn what was left pending in previous journeys (individually), in service to expanding familial and tribal consciousness, and in service to the collective learning of humanity. All of this, ultimately, is in service to a Greater Plan that exceeds the capacity of our minds to comprehend. All this design is assigned to the current incarnation, identified with our full name as it appears on our birth certificate, and this will be the key that allows us to access the records.

We Are One with the Universe

One of the main lessons we come to experience on this journey is to understand that everything and everyone is one (The Source), therefore everything must be accepted and integrated, never rejected. Everything that happens to us or that we do to another, at a fundamental point, we are doing it to ourselves.

We Are the Protagonists of Our Lives

Another major lesson is to take responsibility for our own reality, understanding that we are not a product or result of external actions or circumstances in which we grew up, but from the beginning, everything we experienced was in service to our learning (we chose it, do you remember?). Over time, I understood that our parents provide us with the possibility to develop what we need to learn what we have come to learn. And it is from this awareness that we can abandon the role of victim for what they gave us or did not give us, for what they did to us or did not do to us, for what happened to us or did not happen to us; and instead, be grateful for all that as a possibility in service to our own script, in the story in which we are the protagonists. Now, this does not mean that we should deny the pain and all the range of emotions, traumas, and experiences lived in our childhood; but by understanding that everything was for our learning, we can move away from victimhood and empower ourselves, taking charge of our healing process. It is the task of our Adult Self to protect, care for, and nurture our Inner Child so that we can heal and free ourselves from past karma.

When we access our Akashic Records, we can understand what our purpose is, why we chose our parents and the experiences we lived, what we came to learn and heal. This knowledge liberates us, gives us a deep understanding, and allows us to access the key that opens the door to our evolutionary path.

Soul Pacts

When we choose our fellow travelers, we sign soul pacts, and each person who crosses our path is in service to mirroring us and reminding us of what we came to learn. Many times these pacts last for more than one incarnation, and we choose each other again. I once read that a person is on your path for as long as both of you need to learn from each other what you came to learn, so I believe that karmic bonds (those that come from other lives or are associated with experiences lived in past lives) have a deeper teaching, something that presents a greater challenge when it comes to lowering barriers and resistance and surrendering to our life mission. There are also collective learnings, shared among all those beings that coexist in a certain region or historical period.

When accessing the Akashic Records, we can understand what these soul pacts are and what learning each bond brings to us, as well as the teaching we have to offer. Sometimes we can access information about collective learnings, becoming a channel, which entails the responsibility to transmit that message to those involved (but not the obligation to force or coerce that message to be received).

How Do We Access the Akashic Records?



It is very likely that on more than one occasion, you have accessed your records without being aware of it, as our first connection vehicle with them is what we know as intuition: that "inner voice" that tells us where to go and where not to go. It is through our Higher Self that we can access this information.

Our Higher Self is the one behind our intuition and would be the personification of our soul. It is a higher and more spiritual dimension of our own consciousness and is beyond the individual mind since it has a higher and more comprehensive perspective of life. Our Higher Self allows us to access cosmic consciousness and acts as an internal guide in everyday life so that we can advance on our spiritual path. It is an intermediary between our rational mind (the Ego), our soul, and the Universe.

It is important to understand that we are multidimensional beings. Our physical body and our rational mind are governed by time, space, value judgments, adjectives, and polarities, perceiving experiences through the five senses. This aspect is our finite Self, which is born, lives, and dies; and it only has a limited amount of knowledge. On the other hand, our Higher Self, in connection with our soul and the source, allows us to access higher dimensions where time and space do not exist, where wisdom is unlimited, everything is perfect as it is, there are no value judgments or adjectives, and there are no polarities since everything is part of an integrated whole. Our Higher Self is capable of perceiving with the simple act of connecting and inhabits an infinite dimension where everything is possible.
